Tree Maintenance
Our professional arborists are certified experts in the field of tree care and offer ongoing tree maintenance year-round. We’ll send an arborist to your home to evaluate your trees, including their health, potential concerns and what kind of trees you have, to determine the type of care they require.
Pruning for Coniferous and Deciduous Trees
Pruning is essential to the health of your trees as it helps prevent overgrowth, insect damage and promotes a sturdy tree structure. While our professional arborists offer year-round pruning on coniferous and deciduous trees, such as pines or maples, we only prune specific fruit-bearing trees during their dormant months.
Pruning for Fruit-Bearing Trees
Fruit-bearing trees, including elm and oak trees, can only be pruned during their dormant months from November to March. This dormant pruning allows for quicker sprouting when the trees bud again in the warmer months. At Kinnucan, we recommend pruning these types of fruit-bearing trees during every dormant season to maximize the health of your trees.
